My name is Wendy Gorman and I was born and raised in Oregon, spending the majority of my life in the beautiful Rogue Valley.
I graduated from North Medford High School and then moved to Eugene where I worked in retail and in management.
I discovered that I loved doing the books at the end of the day so I decided to come back to the Rogue Valley to attend college and try out accounting.
I attended Southern Oregon University (Go Raiders!) where I took my first accounting class and fell in love with the profession. I suppose being excited to take the exams was a clue!
One of the best days of my life was graduating in 2000 with a BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting and a minor in Criminology.
My Senior year I did an internship with a local CPA firm that does attestation, which is a form of audit work. The best part of the job was the relationship I built with my clients.
I spent some years with a local well known corporation doing financial accounting and that time just confirmed that I am in the right profession! While I loved my partners, I wanted to get back to the mall boutique atmosphere.
I then decided to find a better work/life balance and I was lucky enough to find a job with a local CPA firm willing to let me work part-time. I then focused my attention on small business accounting, payroll and taxes.
All of this has brought me to my current adventure of owning my own business. I am excited to build professional relationships with my clients and help them get back to doing what they love while I take care of the numbers!
In my own time, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband Tom also grew up in the Rogue Valley and we have raised our boys here too. We love to watch our boys play sports, go to movies, work on our home and travel.
We have two boys, Zachary is 19 and attending Oregon State University in the School of Engineering.
Camden is 16 and enjoys driving, baseball and snowboarding when he's not playing with his dog Izzy.
A work/life balance is what so many of us strive for, my business priority is to help you maintain your work/life balance by helping you with some of your business needs!
